Itinerary

Day One:
Prepare to embark on an adrenaline-fueled expedition that will ignite your sense of adventure from the moment we pick you up from your hotel. Our journey begins with a visit to the awe-inspiring El Jem Colosseum, a monumental marvel nestled in the heart of Tunisia’s El Djem town. This legendary amphitheater boasts a rich history that’ll leave you breathless, making it a must-see attraction for travelers seeking immersive experiences.
Next, we’ll venture to Matmata, renowned for its iconic “Star Wars” scenery and the enigmatic underground dwellings of the Berber Troglodytes. Dive deep into the Berber way of life as we explore these unique structures, offering unparalleled insights into centuries-old traditions and culture.
But the adventure doesn’t stop there. After a traditional Berber lunch, we’ll journey to Douz, the ultimate gateway to the Sahara Desert. Prepare to explore the vast sand dunes, known affectionately as ‘the sandbox,’ with ample time to capture stunning photos and soak in the breathtaking desert landscape.
For the adrenaline junkies among us, the excitement continues as you have the option to ride powerful ATVs or embark on a camel ride through the vast dunes, culminating in a mesmerizing sunset experience unlike any other. Our trusty vehicles prioritize safety and comfort, ensuring an unforgettable journey through the Sahara.
As night falls, immerse yourself in the tranquility of the desert as we spend the night under the vast, twinkling canvas of the desert sky. Gather around a crackling campfire, swap tales with fellow adventurers, and savor a feast fit for desert royalty, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Day Two:
Day two brings new adventures as we venture to Ksar Ghilane, an oasis nestled on the fringes of the Sahara’s magnificent dune seas. Prepare to be awestruck by the vast expanse of sand, offering endless opportunities for exploration and discovery. Whether you choose to mount a camel or horse, each crest offers a new vista of wonder and possibility, allowing you to carve your own path through the timeless sands of the Sahara.
After a day filled with exploration, indulge in the ultimate relaxation at a natural hot spring oasis before witnessing a sunset spectacle against the backdrop of ancient history at the Roman fort of Tisavar.
Day Three:
Rising with the sun in Tozeur you’re plunged into a whirlwind of exhilarating experiences on your final day driving. Just before the crack of dawn we literally chase the sunset through sand dunes in an adrenaline-filled drive to get to the famous Star Wars set of Mos Espa, finally catching an amazing sunrise over the Eriguet sand dunes. The feeling of being in the middle of the desert surrounded by sand and nature under a sky which looks on fire is just unexplainable. Your afternoon then starts where you will spend the late morning exploring your second Oasis, Chebika. A magical sight with flowing fresh water. Grab a bite to eat and then take a memorable hike to the source of the Chebika oasis, bathe under the waterfalls before taking a short drive to your final waterfall, experiencing the expansive lands and different landscapes of Tamazegh. Being so close to the Atlas Mountains in Tunisia, this area has magnificent landscapes and views showcasing so much natural beauty, definitely a route to not miss on your trip exploring. Notes:
- Recommended participants should be able to speak/understand one of these. Arabic, French, English, German, Italian or Spanish
- Recommended for ages of 12 and above. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Intermediate level excursion, requires plenty of walking. Some hill and mountain hiking. Due to the nature of the excursion, unfortunately cannot accommodate for wheelchair users.
- High intensity, fast paced tour packing in A LOT in a day. High energy levels and spirits are needed to enjoy to the max!
